Cafenated is a farm-to-cup coffee roasting company that sources green beans directly from well-established women’s coffee farm cooperatives in Central America, South America, and Africa. Our mission is to cut out the middlemen and brokers who take precious profit from these women, and supply the coffee directly from the cooperatives to you, the consumer. Women are underrepresented, underpaid, and under appreciated in the global coffee supply chain. We are looking to change that.

If we are doing this right, these female farmers will see more profits from their efforts and can earn a living on their own, afford healthcare and educational opportunities for their families, and reinvest in themselves and their communities. The more we recognize and appreciate the unseen and unheard work force that makes the amazing coffee we purchase possible, the more we can change small corners of the world, one coffee bag purchase at a time.

We know it can be hard to make conscientious decisions about all the food we eat and products we buy. That’s why we want to make it easy to buy coffee you can feel good about.
